Job Description

Our client, an international manufacturer, is seeking Forklift Operators to join their team in Virginia Beach, VA. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse team transferring and receiving materials in the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Specialty Forklift Driver

Location: Virginia Beach, VA

Pay Range: Multiple shifts starting at $17.00/hr. (shift differential pay available)
Additional Pay Incentives: all associates are eligible for a $0.25 cent raise each order for the first year of employment. After 1 year, all associates are eligible for a $1.00 raise each year.

What’s the Job?

• Receiving work orders from Supervisor or computer systems to move products on the warehouse floor
• Records material transfers, storage and other movements on PCs, CRTs, or hand-held electronic units, ensuring accuracy of information
• Operating a forklift or a Turret Truck (training/certification onsite)
• Loads trucks or other transit containers with completed orders of finished products of goods in process
• Unloading raw materials, goods in process, and/or finished goods from trucks or other transit containers and transfers items to designated stock location

What’s Needed?

• Experience or training operating a forklift is required
• Experience operating a Turret Truck is required
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly
• Reliable Transportation
