Job Description Job Description Hiring now for the 2022-2023 school year! This position is for a full time special education certified teacher for a small class of up to 10 students. This classroom will also have a full time para assigned to support the teacher and students. Responsibilities for teacher: Implement designated curriculum Deliver expected curriculum instruction with fidelity Actively monitor students following the staff duty schedule Create and implement Individual Education Programs Collect, analyze, and report on individual student data Keep up to date attendance/illness/accident records of children in the class Plan, implement and post a weekly written plan of daily class activities Set up and maintain an appropriate classroom environment (this includes ensuring a clean and safe classroom) Provide quarterly written assessments to administration/families on children’s progress Provide written guidelines for substitutes Give guidance and direction to teacher assistants and volunteers Attend staff meetings and functions of Pathways Company Description Pathways is a small private school serving students with special education needs.
