Job Position: Special Education Teacher Elementary Resource
Location: Kirkland, IL 60146
Pay Rate: Starting at $50 per hour (based on experience)

Birch Agency is seeking a Special Education Teacher for an elementary resource position near Kirkland, Illinois . This full-time, school-based role is available for the remainder of the current school year and offers an opportunity to support elementary students with diverse learning needs in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide resource-level special education instruction to elementary students
Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and accommodations
Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
Participate in IEP meetings and maintain required documentation
Track student progress and adjust instruction as needed
Qualifications:
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate Special Education endorsement (LBS I preferred)
Previous elementary or resource classroom experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Commitment to supporting student success
