LONG-TERM ASSIGNMENT WITH OPPORTUNITY TO BE EXTENDED OR GO PERM BUT CANNOT BE GUARANTEED

MUST BE FLUENT IN SPANISH

Must have proofreading/translation/InDesign experience.
•Location: Work-at-home (Eastern or Central time zone)
•Hours M-F 8 a.m.-5 p.m.


6 Months contract

Initial phone interviews will be conducted with selected candidates, possibly followed by panel interview via video call. Fluency in English and Spanish is required. Language test will be required.

This role facilitates translation and proofreads Spanish documents. Work assignments frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Must be able to handles relations with internal customers and external translation vendors in an efficient, professional manner under pressure. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations. Requires minimal direction and receives guidance when needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications
•Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
•Top-notch Spanish grammar skills
•Strong attention to detail
•Ability to work under deadline pressure
•Able to organize and re-organize work according to changing priorities
•Passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experience
•Bilingual English/Spanish: able to read, write and speak fluently without limitations or assistance; able to understand English source language, whether spoken or written
•Basic InDesign skills
•Bachelor's degree or graduate certificate in Spanish translation or related field
•Project management experience

Preferred Qualifications
•Three or more years of Spanish proofreading experience
•Experience partnering with and managing external vendors LanceSoft
