Hiring now for the Winter 2025-2026 season: This winter, Marea brings its signature coastal Italian cuisine and world-class hospitality to the mountains with an exclusive pop-up at  The Snow Lodge , located at  The St. Regis Aspen Resort . A collaboration between two icons of culture, cuisine, and style, the Marea x Snow Lodge residency captures the best of both worlds — the spirit of the Italian seaside and the soul of Aspen’s alpine allure. Sommelier Responsibilities include:

• Actively engage in service, recommending wines, cocktail & spirit beverage pairings, and anything else needed to enhance the guest experience, and lead with a hands-on approach.
• Stay knowledgeable and up to date on classic and new wines, and liquors.
• Assist in growing wine/beverage sales in the restaurant and develop strong guest relationships.
• Help maintain the wine cellar, the beverage storeroom, and assist in monthly inventories
• Perform other duties as required by management. 

Sommelier Requirements:

• 4 years of restaurant industry experience preferred, with 2 years of experience working with beverage
• Solid foundation with Italian and French wine & spirits.
• Candidates should be highly organized, efficient, and be able to work precisely
• Ability to multitask and plan ahead
• Ability to teach and encourage the restaurant staff to develop their wine knowledge
• Candidates should demonstrate creativity and a commitment to the brand success
• Be able to walk, stand, grab, kneel, climb stairs, and hold up to 50 lbs. without any assistance. 
• Must have a flexible schedule and open availability to meet business needs. This is a seasonal position.

Compensation: $14.81 per year plus tips, less a $3.02 tip credit if applicable.
