Job Description
On-site Staffing Services is seeking 2 Solar Panel Installers to join their team out in the Waukesha, WI area to service throughout the following cities:
Big Bend, Brookfield, Chenequa, Delafield, Dousman, Eagle, Elm Grove, Genesee Depot, Hartland, Lannon, Menomonee Falls, Merton, Mukwonago, Muskego, Nashotah, New Berlin, North Lake, North Prairie, Oconomowoc Lake, Okauchee, Okauchee Lake, Pewaukee, Sussex, Wales, Waukesha, and Illinois.
Monday - Friday with Saturday optional. 2-4 days per week. Days can be same per week or variable depending on candidate's needs. Start times 7-9a depending on work. 8-12 hours of work per day including drive time. Paid drive time. Not a 9-5 job most days though.
Must have prior construction experience, but not necessary. Must be comfortable with heights, small spaces, and ladders.
Essential Duties:
· Follow layout plans and perform the structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment.
· Support the crew to ensure the successful completion of the solar system installation.
· Document completion of quality installation.
· Compliance with OSHA standards. (Company will pay for OSHA 10 hours training.)
Key Competencies:
· Must be able to consistently carry up to 35 pounds plus.
· Must be comfortable working with heights (Ladders, stairs, and roofs.)
· Able to work outdoors for extended amounts of time.
· Must have a reliable means of transportation to the Waukesha (Company provide work truck(s) for business use.)
· Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean MVR pass 2 years, no speeding, DUI, or any accident.
· Willing to train a hard-working individual with some knowledge of construction and power tools.
· Good communication skills.
$20 - $32/hr. depending on experience
