About The Role As a Software Engineer, Machine Learning at TwelveLabs, you will drive our ML systems + platform engineering efforts in all facets of our e2e ML & engineering workflows. Delivering highly reliable, low latency, high throughput services is the essence of the role. This role is a perfect fit for experienced engineers with some past machine learning experience who want to go deep on unsolved problems in multimodal AI systems, orchestration, operations, and deployment. In This Role, You Will Advance our industry-leading enterprise video solutions by incorporating already-great research into fault tolerant, low latency systems Craft performant APIs using modern Python tools Build the highest impact, not the flashiest, libraries and services Mentor junior engineers/researchers, and hold a high bar around code quality / engineering best practices Lead by example in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding passionate and empathetic engineers You May Be A Good Fit If You Have 6+ years of relevant industry experience Designed production services using Python, Postgres, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic (and friends) Demonstrated experience as a technical lead to deliver projects end to end Exposure to machine learning models in production environments (e.g. deployment, serving, lifecycle management, monitoring) Strong Candidates May Also Have Experience Scaling ML systems and/or data infrastructure to workloads of petabyte+ scale Building Kubernetes-based systems for distributed data/ML workflows Interview Process Recruiter Phone Screen Initial Technical Assessment Hiring Manager Interview Onsite Technical Interview [In-Person] Final Interview: Culture Benefits And Perks An open and inclusive culture and work environment.
