Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Social Media and Communications Intern will assist in developing and implementing the MiSide social media strategy. This individual will also contribute to creating engaging content, and supporting MiSide overall communications efforts that will enhance the relationships with stakeholders, donors, volunteers, staff, and the community to advance the mission of the organization. In addition, this individual will provide assistance with social media management and communications within the organization.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field
• Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) preferred
• Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a reliable transportation for day-to-day job performance

COMPENSATION:

Unpaid (Part-time, Non-Union)
