You will be the Shipping/Receiving Specialist for Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control team in Chelmsford, MA. Our team is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials and products through our supply chain.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Shipping/Receiving Specialist you will be responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting warehouse operations.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs a combination of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties; may work out of a central warehouse.

  • Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting.

  • Follows shipping practices and procedures, and transportation routing, schedules and requirements.

  • Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment.

  • (Un)packs or (un)wraps items such as finished products, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, office supplies, equipment, etc.

  • Verifies quantity, weight, and conformance of materials to stated identifications; logs receipt of items on system, processes freight bills, packing sheets, and other documents; reports materials shipped and bills of lading; posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations.

MUST BE A?U.S.?CITIZEN -?This position is located at a facility that requires?special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim Secret clearance is required to start.

Basic Qualifications:

* Experience on a shipping & receiving dock

* Ability to obtain DOT HAZMAT Certifification

* Strong knowledge of shipping regulations, including HAZMAT handling and transportation

* High school diploma or equivalent required

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship (at least Interim Secret required prior to start)

Desired Skills:

* Ability to adapt to changing shipping and receiving schedules and priorities

* Willingness to work flexible hours (e.g., overtime, weekends) as needed

* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

* 49-CFR Certified

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $33,600 - $59,225. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $38,600 - $64,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
