Job Summary:
Fox Powersports (Grand Rapids) is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our warehouse team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. This role involves assisting with the accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory records, and supporting general warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and carrier standards.
Label packages accurately and ensure all necessary documentation is included.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment (training provided if needed).
Maintain clean and organized shipping and receiving areas.
Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
Communicate with supervisors or vendors about any shipment discrepancies.
Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Prior experience recommended; on-the-job training provided.
Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Team-oriented with good communication skills.
Forklift certification a plus (but not required at entry level).
Work Environment:
Warehouse setting with potential exposure to varying temperatures.
May require occasional overtime during busy shipping periods.
