**CV Resources** is partnering with a rapidly growing, private equity-backed health and wellness company to find a skilled **Senior Staff Accountant**. The company is focused on innovation and making a positive impact in its sector. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a detail-oriented accountant to join their team and support the financial operations of the business. **Position Overview:** As the**Senior Staff Accountant** , you will play a critical role in the monthly close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. This is a hands-on role that will involve working with MS Dynamics GP and leveraging strong Excel skills. The position reports to the Accounting Manager and offers significant exposure to senior leadership.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes in compliance with GAAP.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Analyze financial results and explain key variances to management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Support audits and assist with documentation requests.
• Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• *Qualifications:**
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a private equity-backed or healthwellness environment.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with MS Dynamics GP or similar ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
