Senior Healthcare Data Analyst Remote What is the purpose of this role? As a Data Analyst at Nest Health, you will be instrumental in unlocking the power of our data to drive operational efficiency, inform strategic decisions, and improve patient outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, transform raw data into actionable insights, and develop innovative solutions and analytical dashboards that enhance our healthcare services. Your expertise in data analysis, coupled with a deep understanding of healthcare industry regulations, will enable you to deliver impactful results. What is the role? Nest Health is looking for a Healthcare Data Analyst to join our growing IT team as we build an initial version of our data warehouse. The Healthcare Data Analyst will leverage their healthcare and technical knowledge to evaluate business requirements and perform advanced data integration and analysis. Work with Nest stakeholders to develop and maintain advanced reporting and analytics using BI tools. What will you do? Drive requirements gathering to help build the Nest health data assets Help normalize data from multiple sources and vendors to a single target warehouse format Map, process, test, and maintain the data sources relevant to Nest Health's operations Help prepare, develop, and model business-oriented reports and dashboards to enable operational efficiency and decision-making Create and maintain documentation related to data sources, mapping, and transformation Identify opportunities to use data to develop new strategies and improve business performance What do you bring to the Nest? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. A comparable combination of education and experience may be considered Minimum of 5 years of data analysis experience, ideally focusing on healthcare or preferably other highly regulated industry Minimum of 3 years of experience developing, deploying, and maintaining analytical dashboards leveraging BI tools Experience working with Git or comparable VCS (Version Control System) is a must; cloud-based, especially DevOps, is ideal Experience using Snowflake or equivalent SQL/NoSQL data warehouse is a must; cloud-based is ideal Good working experience with PowerBI or equivalent BI tool is a must Experience in technical writing within a highly regulated industry Working knowledge of the Microsoft Azure cloud computing platform Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and implement effective solutions Comfortability working in a 'greenfield' environment Experience with P4P programs is a plus What is required (travel & physical requirements)? Travel as needed for the role (expected travel is at least once per quarter) Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times What does Nest bring to the table?
