As a Security Professional – Retail Patrol in Reno, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a bustling retail environment, you will play a key role in helping to deter incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone at the location. Your presence and routine patrols throughout the area will help to deter security-related incidents while fostering a sense of comfort for customers and staff. You'll be a visible resource, ready to provide exceptional customer service and clear communication whenever needed. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner within the retail location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store and surrounding areas to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing directions and information as needed.
• Work collaboratively with store management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related issues.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted behavior in the retail environment.

• Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
• A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
