As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a vital role in helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout the premises. You will be responsible for monitoring assigned areas, responding promptly to any security-related concerns, and providing support as needed. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as appropriate.
• Assist with controlling access to the location and monitor entrances and exits as required by site policies.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or observations during assigned shifts.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors while upholding site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
