Overview

MAINSAIL Group is looking for an experienced Security Manager to provide security management support to the C3I Infrastructure Enterprise Division, which is located at Hanscom AFB, MA.

LOCATION : Hanscom AFB, MA
JOB STATUS : Full time

TRAVEL : Less than 10%

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Recommending, evaluating, maintaining, and/or operating systems, policies, devices, procedures, and methods used for safeguarding information, property, personnel, operations, and materials.

• Recommending and implementing policies and procedures for analyzing and evaluating the character, background, and history of employees, candidates for employment, and other persons having or proposed to be granted access to classified or other sensitive information, materials, or work sites.
• Providing the following security support for controlled facilities
• Issue notices and continuous reminders to Program Office personnel regarding OPSEC practices

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess demonstrated knowledge of DoD security procedures, including classified transmission, protection of incoming mail, courier requirements, security incident reporting, and security violation sanctions.
• Command a full understanding and maintain current on all Operations Security (OPSEC) practices.

SECURITY CLEARANCE :

• Secret (minimum), Top Secret preferred

EDUCATION :

• A minimum of 4 years of security management experience required, of which 2 years must be within the DoD.
