As a Patrol Unarmed Officer within a healthcare location, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to help deter potential security-related incidents, and responding promptly to situations as they arise. You will also be expected to provide outstanding customer service, offering assistance and clear communication to those you encounter. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location, responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism throughout.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, staff, and/or patients with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a visible presence.
• Support access control procedures, monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to address security-related matters and uphold a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
