Role Overview: We’re searching for a Remote Experienced Seamstress to supplement our sewing needs over the next 2-3 months. We are looking for someone available between 10 - 20 hours a week with a particular focus in commercial sewing and fabrication techniques with accuracy and efficiency. Flexible hours and 100% remote. We will consider non-employed independent contractor arrangements if appropriately self-employed. This is a work-from-home opportunity and must be based in South Florida. Must have an industrial sewing machine including single needle, double-needle cover stitch, and serger/overlock. Flatlock and buttonhole machines would be a valuable addition. Key Responsibilities: Must have access to a dedicated cutting table or sufficient workspace to accurately lay out and cut fabric patterns, ensuring precision in garment and product construction. Professional use of an industrial sewing machine to make new samples, or making requested modifications to uniform garments. Checks patterns for errors or inaccuracies and provides feedback on construction difficulties from a production standpoint. Giving concise feedback on the construction of garments from a manufacturing standpoint. Must be extremely detail-oriented and quality-focused. Well-versed on industrial Sewing machines.
