This full-time School Psychologist opportunity in Cape Coral, FL, offers a rewarding chance to support K-12 students through comprehensive psychological services. The assignment runs from January 14, 2025, through June 1, 2026, and involves working onsite with an itinerant caseload across multiple schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and testing for students within the K-12 range
- Prepare detailed, compliant reports based on evaluation findings
- Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to support student needs
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop effective intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory and district policies
Qualifications:
- Current Florida Department of Health Psychologist license required
- School-based experience with assessments strongly preferred
- Comfortable managing a variable caseload in a potentially itinerant role
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with students, families, and school teams
- Ability to work full-time (35 hours per week) onsite within the school district
