Repair Technician – Medical Devices

Location: Wellington, FL

Pay:$20–$21/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Contract 6-month contract-to-hire with full training provided

What You’ll Do

• Repair, assemble, and test medical endoscopes (rigid, flexible, and optical)
• Follow ISO-certified procedures to ensure top-quality standards
• Diagnose issues and document findings for customer service
• Report damaged tools or parts and support continuous improvement
• Collaborate with a team and take on additional tasks as needed
• Represent the company with professionalism and integrity

Work Environment

• Bench setup for detailed repair work (small and large diameter scopes)
• Cleanroom, temperature-controlled facility
• Scrubs provided upon permanent hire

Training & Development

• 6-month hands-on training program
• Learn testing, repair techniques, and how to prepare work orders and quotes
• Gain skills in calibrating medical equipment (no prior experience needed)

What You Bring

• 1+ year of experience in assembly or electrical repair
• Comfortable working under a microscope and performing repetitive tasks
• Strong hand-eye coordination and experience with hand tools
• Detail-oriented and eager to learn

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with small components, electronics, or medical devices
• Experience in jewelry or watch repair
• Tech-savvy (e.g., phone/laptop repair)
