The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Ortho/Spine unit provides specialized nursing care for orthopedic patients, ensuring comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and care coordination. This short-term role requires a Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing, with a preference for a BSN or MSN, and encompasses evaluating patient outcomes while adhering to evidence-based practices. The position supports a center of excellence recognized for its orthopedic procedures and requires a current RN license and BLS certification.
Overview:Compensation
Ortho/Spine is a 32 bed unit specializing in orthopedic patients. We have disease specific certification from the Joint Commission in Hip Replacement, Knee Replacement and Hip Fx patients which deems us a center of excellence. We also care for Total Shoulder and Ankle patients as well as other fractures. We also care for low level cardiac patients and some med-surg patients.
