Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
License: Must have permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand.
Certifications: American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
Must-Have:
- Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel assignments.
- Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
- ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment completion required during orientation with acceptable scores.
- One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required to qualify for submission.
Description:
This position is for a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse.
The RN will provide care for patients with medical and surgical conditions.
The schedule includes rotating shifts of 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM.
Shifts may vary to meet operational needs.
The facility will do its best to honor the traveler's preferred shift but reserves the right to rotate as necessary.
An acceptable score on ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments is required.
The facility requires travelers to have no open cases on background checks.
Travelers cannot return to the facility for 1 year after their previous end date.
Candidates will need to complete onsite fingerprints before their start date.
Modules may be required prior to start and annually.
All candidates must pass the required assessments within two attempts, or their contract will be canceled.
Smoking restrictions apply to travelers, with specific exemptions for nurses and surgical technologists.
All references must be from supervisory roles.
This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and adherence to facility policies and procedures.
