Ramp Agent at gategroup summary:

Ramp Agents are responsible for loading and unloading aircraft, handling baggage, and coordinating ground operations to ensure timely departures and arrivals. They work flexible hours, communicate with supervisors via radio, and must maintain safety standards including a clean driving record. The role requires physical stamina, teamwork, and the ability to operate in varying environmental conditions at the airport.

$20.80/hr. +

• Union initiation fee: $75.00
• Union monthly dues: $76.80

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Manage and deliver multiple tasks and delivering them within the assigned deadlines.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays and overtime when mandated
• Arrive to work on-time and in uniform
• Maintain a clean driving record
• Complete paperwork
• Communicate by radio to supervisors and dispatchers
• Work as a member of a team

Job Skills :

• Current driver’s license and clean driving record required
• Complete mandatory Driving Test and AOA training at the airport

Environmental Requirements :

• Will be exposed to utmost temperature changes and noise
• Be able to work up to ten (10) feet in the air​
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds
• Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours
