We're seeking a dynamic leader to manage our Mechanical Engineering team in designing cutting-edge custom microwave amplifiers. You'll play a pivotal role in driving innovation, guiding seamless transitions from development to production, and fostering best practices across our engineering processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the Mechanical Engineering team in concept design, development, and production of advanced IMAs and microwave amplifiers.
Oversee employee development and operational improvements to align with company goals.
Supervise the NPI Engineering team, facilitating smooth product transfers to production.
Drive standardization of best practices and lead recruitment and team growth initiatives.
Innovate, validate, and standardize new mechanical structures and techniques for improved cost and performance.
Create and verify automated test equipment (ATE) and manage product lifecycle from concept to production.
Technical Expertise:
Develop and communicate groundbreaking mechanical concepts with a focus on SWaP (size, weight, and power), automation, reliability, and speed.
Oversee mechanical analysis, testing, and validation to ensure product excellence.
Lead impactful design reviews and deliver clear presentations to stakeholders.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering (Master's preferred).
10+ years of experience in microelectronics packaging, RF/microwave subsystem design, and manufacturing for production.
Strong experience with tools like ANSYS, Labview, and SolidWorks.
Expertise in designing hardware for demanding environments (combat, flight, space).
Proven leadership in technical team management and talent development.
Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
