Direct Marketing - Virginia Beach, VA (onsite)

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking a Proofreader who will be responsible for proofreading Direct Marketing materials for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with the department's established style guidelines to ensure they are of the highest quality possible before print production.

We're looking for someone whose primary role will be to ensure error-free content for our campaigns and is passionate about catching errors in content, formatting, spelling, punctuation, and grammar. However, this position will also have an opportunity to write and create compelling content for our family focused curriculum as well as support our online presence.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Exceptional proofreading, editing and writing skills
• Knowledge of marketing and development concepts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and as an effective member of the team
• Ability to adjust to shifting priorities, maintain accuracy under pressure, meet deadlines in a high-production environment
• Proficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Acrobat Reader, and Internet Explorer
