Mission:

The Program Manager will functionally report to both the Director of Scholar Success. This role is responsible for the successful organization, coordination, and execution of the Pioneer Academics’ research program through strong leadership of staff, innovative and consistent business and operational process management, and displaying proud high performance behaviors across an international team. The Program Manager will be a key player in the collaboration and support of other Operations functions as assigned. As this is a global program, non-traditional working hours are a must with a focus on ensuring work-life balance.

Key Criteria/Requirements:

A successful Program Manager must be able to oversee each operational phase of the academic research program to ensure the smooth execution of the student experience. This is not an entry-level role as it requires both leadership and management experience by an experienced professional with a proven track record.

  • Graduate of a prominent American university with a bachelor's degree or higher
  • A successful Program Manager will bring 3-5 years of direct supervisory and employee development experience managing staff and delegating responsibilities amongst a high performing team.
  • Strong technical skills working across multiple systems organizing and analyzing data.
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in LMS and web conferencing platforms (Schoology, Powerschool, Slate, and Zoom).
  • Proven experience facilitating instructional presentations to large audiences at all levels of an organization.
  • Established record of owning an internal and external communication process ranging from general updates and announcements to escalation and problem-solving to a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Proven track record successfully planning, managing, and completing projects and priorities.
