AminoChain is looking for Product Design Interns to help us build the future of biotech, blockchain and AI.

You'll join a team that is smart and very direct. We challenge each other to improve our work, learn, and ask hard questions. We're dedicated to building and testing fast. Building, maintaining and managing Design systems is pivotal to our cadence and success. We know the importance of validating assumptions about users and use several types of testing to figure out whether we're right (or wrong). Our bottom line is improving our user's experience-no matter what.

What you'll do

• Gain valuable exposure to the design and product development process by working on a real production project.
• Be mentored by our experienced designers in shaping your internship outcomes.
• Help build and support best practices, such as the Design system as the Design practice is built from the ground up.
• Be part of a small foundational team in the biotech space. Building great tools in this space is at the core of what we do.

Requirements

• Able to commit to a 12 week full-time (40hrs/week).
• Currently enrolled full-time in a 4-year bachelors or 2-year masters degree program.
• Pursuing a degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Design, or a related field.
• Experience with user-focused design, Design Systems and Visual Design.
• Proficiency with professional design tools (primarily Figma,).
• Demonstrate the ability to plan while juggling multiple simultaneous projects
• Experience collaborating with team members, like engineers and data analysts.
• Strong interest in user experience research and design.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
