The Position

RCL Mechanical is looking for a Plumbing or HVAC Field Supervisor that can represent our core values and help support the field with becoming more efficient. This individual will be working closely with our service manager. You are tasked with client satisfaction and efficient field execution on all service calls, having overall responsibility for the success of the teams calls from start to finish. We are looking to deliver the best service and we always strive for a 5-star service rating with all of our customers!

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

• Guide, and mentor our technicians and install team

• Enforce workplace safety policies, including OSHA regulations, through regular onsite inspections
• Assist field staff in resolving technical problems
• Conduct daily checkouts, ensuring accurate completion of work orders
• Ensure technicians work safely and efficiently, providing necessary training when needed
• Maintain site cleanliness and safety standards
• Oversee preventive maintenance quality assurance
  
• Foster open communication between customers and the field
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors
• Act as a project manager for small service sales projects if required
• Generate service sales leads and identify repair/replacement opportunities
• Address and communicate with service manager on large problems efficiently
• Conduct site visits to monitor morale and generate follow-up work
• Assist with service billing issues or questions
  

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 5 years of Plumbing or HVAC Experience
• Excellent customer service and sales skills
• Post-high school education from college, trade school, or military
• Technical aptitude with problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict management skills
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and general software navigation
• Strong personal desire for improvement and motivating the team
• Clean, neat, and professional appearance
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and background
• Ability to work non-standard schedules: nights, weekends, and holidays as required
