Description

Centurion is proud to be the provider of medical and mental health services to the Georgia Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a full-time, Phlebotomist to join our Team at Lee Arrendale State Prison - Alto, GA.

Shift:

• Full-time/Day shift/ Monday-Friday (No weekends)
• 8:00 AM -4:30 PM

Pay rate:

• $18+ an hr.

Qualifications

The Phlebotomist is responsible for drawing blood, checking vital signs, finger sticking for blood sugars, and assisting with activities of daily living for patients in a correctional healthcare environment.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Current Phlebotomist certification with verifiable formal training and on-the-job experience as a phlebotomist required
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification/license preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Corrections preferred
• Ability to obtain security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
