Shopify Developer

Our client is a skincare brand recognized for its innovative, clinically tested products that deliver real results. Dedicated to empowering confidence through beautiful, healthy skin, the company is seeking a Shopify Developer to help create an online experience as flawless as its products.

Our client is looking for a part-time Shopify Developer who is both technically skilled and conversion-focused. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Shopify understanding every toggle, setting, and integration and will be responsible for implementing site updates, resolving technical issues, and optimizing the platform for performance and sales.

You'll be responsible for maintaining and improving our Shopify storefront, implementing UX updates, and ensuring a seamless customer journey that supports our growth goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the brand Shopify storefront, ensuring consistent site performance and uptime.
• Implement website changes, updates, and new features with minimal supervision.
• Create and optimize pop-ups, carts, upsells, and secondary SKUs to improve user experience and conversion rates.
• Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and responsive design errors.
• Work closely with the marketing and design teams to support promotional campaigns and landing page builds.
• Optimize site speed, navigation, and checkout flow for higher conversion rates.
• Maintain integrations with third-party apps and ensure they work seamlessly.
• Continuously monitor analytics to identify and address opportunities for site improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Shopify Developer (theme customization, Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Strong understanding of Shopify Plus, its backend systems, and ecosystem of apps.
• Proven experience improving site performance and conversion rates.
• Ability to create and manage pop-ups, cart functionality, and product bundles/secondary SKUs.
• Familiarity with A/B testing tools and conversion rate optimization best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, self-directed work ethic.
• Ability to work efficiently in a part-time, remote setup with minimal oversight.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Shopify Scripts or custom checkout logic.
• Understanding of SEO best practices for eCommerce.
• Familiarity with Klaviyo, Rebuy, or other Shopify-integrated tools.
