Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-time Bookkeeper to manage the financial records of our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. This role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and a solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner
Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, and bank accounts at the end of each month
Work closely with the accounting team to support audits and other financial operations
Requirements:
Proven bookkeeping experience
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
Experience with accounting software such as Sage - Peachtree
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the swimming pool industry; helpful
Familiarity with payroll software and tax regulations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
