Essential Elements:

• One year optical experience preferred: One year of optical experience is preferred, and we will provide additional training for the right individual.
• 35-37 Hours per Week: Enjoy a great work/life balance, working approximately 35-37 hours per week and contributing to our patients' eye health and well-being.
• Competitive Compensation starting at $17.00: Earn a competitive salary commensurate with your skills and experience starting at $17.00 per hour with no experience in optical and higher commensurate with experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide style consulting and education about eyewear to patients as they select the best eyeglasses for their personal style.
• Take measurements of eyewear.
• Adjust and fit eyewear for patients and perform eyewear repairs.
• Order frames, lenses, and contact lenses.
• Apply vision plan benefits for products ordered and services performed. Attention to detail in collecting appropriate copays and billing for products and services is a must.
• Explain to patients the benefits of various lens designs, lens materials, contact lenses, and frames.
• Will require the ability to work the reception desk as well as perform entrance testing and contact lens training as needed. Candidate must be able to answer phones, schedule appointments, and verify insurance.
• Perform daily office cleaning tasks.
