FGH has an opening for a Med/Surg/ED RN-Baylor position. The nurse coordinates total nursing care of patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel while maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. This is a weekend package position in our Med/Surg/ER departments. Primarily will work in ED, but will float to the med/surg floor.
The Baylor position will work 5 out of 6 weekends. The weekend is defined as Saturday, Sunday, Monday. The hours typically are 12-hour shifts, 7p to 7a.
The Baylor position get paid at 1.5 times the base rate of pay for the Baylor hours.
TNCC, PALS, ACLS required, if not already certified training will be provided
