At LTYC, we focus on empowering youth through the arts, fostering creativity, and developing talent in every student. As a vital support to our music instructors, you will assist students in enhancing their musical abilities and creating a positive environment for growth and education. • Assist our music instructors in Washington D.C., DC, US with planning and preparing engaging lessons for students.
• Help maintain a positive learning environment during music instruction sessions at Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center (LTYC).
• Provide personalized assistance to students requiring extra support in grasping musical concepts.
• Aid in the organization and upkeep of musical equipment and supplies within the facility.
• Collaborate closely with instructors at LTYC to create an enriching and interactive educational setting for students.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with one or more musical instruments (e.g., piano, guitar, violin, drums, etc.).
• Previous teaching or instructional experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with both students and staff.
• Passion for music education and commitment to student success.
• Basic administrative skills and proficiency with standard office software.
