Job Title: Mobile Application Developer (React Native)

Location: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

Job Overview

We are seeking two Mobile Application Developers with expertise in React Native development. This role involves working closely with internal teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about mobile technology, thrives in a collaborative environment, and enjoys solving complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop critical software features, design architecture, and provide technical expertise.
• Drive best practices, development principles, and continuous team improvement.
• Assist with product feature delivery, timeline management, and team support.
• Identify and resolve high-impact issues to improve application performance and user experience.
• Work independently while fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
• Mentor and train junior engineers and developers.

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in Canada is required.
• Must be able to work onsite in Vancouver for at least 3 days per week.
• 5+ years of experience in mobile application development.
• 3+ years of experience working with React Native.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Native.
• Strong knowledge of mobile app architecture and design patterns (MVC, MVVM, Redux).
• Experience with iOS and Android native mobile features (push notifications, contacts, GPS, calling, SMS).
• Hands-on experience with Expo, Firebase, Realm, and similar tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks for mobile applications.
• Experience ensuring mobile app maintainability.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with app store submission processes (Apple App Store, Google Play).

Preferred Qualifications

• Published apps on the Apple App Store and/or Google Play Store.
• Experience in real estate or similar domain applications.
• Knowledge of backend services and APIs (Node.js, GraphQL, RESTful APIs).
• Understanding of mobile security best practices.
