The MDS Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that the Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments are completed accurately and timely, which is essential for compliance and reimbursement in the healthcare sector. This position involves collaborating with various departments to gather necessary patient information and ensure that it is documented correctly in the MDS system. The MDS Coordinator will also be responsible for training staff on MDS processes and updates, ensuring that the team is well-informed and compliant with regulations. Additionally, this role requires the analysis of MDS data to identify trends and areas for improvement in patient care.
