LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Material Control Specialist (Materials Planner) for a client located near Speedway, IN. This leading manufacturing company just west of Indianapolis, committed to innovation, efficiency, and excellence in delivering high-quality products. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Planner with 5+ years of experience to ensure the seamless coordination of our supply chain operations, from procurement to production. Salary range of 75-90k plus affordable health, dental, vision and 401k benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supply Chain Planning: Develop and execute supply chain plans to align with production schedules and customer demand.
• Inventory Management: Analyze inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
• Procurement Coordination: Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and negotiate terms to support cost-effective operations.
• Production Alignment: Collaborate with production and logistics teams to synchronize material flow with operational needs.
• Data Analysis: Utilize ERP systems and analytical tools to track supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Act as a liaison between procurement, production, and warehouse teams to maintain a well-coordinated supply chain.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify potential supply chain disruptions and implement proactive solutions to avoid production delays.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of experience in supply chain planning or a related role in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and strong knowledge of MS Excel.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
