Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Coeur d'Alene, ID for the Manager Forensic Nurse Examiner Program. The role involves managing the daily activities of the Forensic Nurse Examiner Program, coordinating with healthcare providers and law enforcement, ensuring program compliance with standards, providing supervision and training to staff, and overseeing program development and outreach efforts to enhance services and community relationships.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN required
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Idaho required
  • Minimum 5 years of emergency department experience required
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience practicing as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner or Forensic Nurse Examiner required
  • SANE-A and SANE-P certification required. Must hold at least one certification for SANE-A or SANE-P at the time of hire. Will be expected to obtain other certification within 2 years of hire
  • ENPC, and CEN or CPEN preferred
  • Completion of a Forensic Nurse program preferred
  • Pediatric patient care experience preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience, teaching, or leadership experience preferred
  • Demonstrates ability to interact with multidisciplinary teams, communicate program needs, and work with peers to establish smooth functioning
  • PALS, TNCC, and ACLS certification required
  • BLS Required. Current AHA Healthcare provider, American Red Cross, AHA Health Saver or KH BLS during General Orientation
