Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the automotive industry, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the Production Department supporting quality assurance efforts. The ideal candidate will have a high degree of accuracy, dependability, and strong communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Altavista, VA

Pay Rate: $12.41/hr

Shift: 2nd Shift (3pm - 11pm)

What's the Job?

• Efficiently operate several inspection machines to attain required quality production.
• Continuously monitor the process to assure good work is being produced.
• Remove and report defective work from the process.
• Make minor adjustments to the machines as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure proper labeling of products.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening 
• Ability to lift and move boxes, with the capacity to repeatedly lift 35 lbs and maneuver heavier weights with assistance.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and dependability.
• Effective communication skills with supervision and other shifts.
