About the Role:

As a Local SEO Specialist , you will play a key role in enhancing our clients’ local online presence and visibility. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute strategies that improve search rankings, optimize listings, and drive local engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage business directory syndication activities through Mediagistic’s business directories management software.
  • Manage client Google Business Profiles through ongoing updates, optimizations, monitoring, and QC.
  • Set up new Google Business Profiles and manage the process from setup to successful verification.
  • Identify, manage, and troubleshoot Local SEO issues and work with Account Managers and Digital Strategists to achieve resolutions.
  • Provide support for Google Maps/Google Business Profile issues.
  • Organize and participate in monthly backlink quality control and performance management.
  • Onboarding and optimization of client YouTube accounts.
  • Loading and optimizing video collateral for YouTube Ads and resizing and optimizing images and logos for YouTube Channel Header, Google My Business Profiles, video thumbnails, etc.
  • Onboarding and optimizing client’s Apple listings.
  • Vendor management of local SEO partners.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of performance data using internal tools, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization.
  • Perform in-depth research on local market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior, providing actionable insights to improve Local SEO strategies.
  • Monitor changes in the local landscape and adapt as necessary.
  • Work closely with the overall team to ensure Local SEO efforts are aligned with overall client strategies and branding.
  • Collaborate in reviewing and creating new internal SOPs. training materials, and client-facing resources as needed, while ensuring that all existing Local SEO documents are up to date.
  • Provide relevant updates and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure marketing campaigns perform from a local standpoint as well as align with client objectives.
  • Provide relevant updates to Sales & Service teams to keep them updated with the Local SEO landscape and any changes that may affect our clients.
  • Stay current with industry developments, trends, and emerging technologies related to local services advertising and digital marketing.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the department.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and brain storming sessions, contributing insights and recommendations based on Local SEO optimizations and market research.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Local SEO, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Google Business Profile, Google Maps, and directory management platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in performance analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and recommend solutions.
