MedCadre is seeking a local contract nurse RN New Graduate for a local contract nursing job in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

Job Title -  RN - Medical Surgical
Job Type -  Full Time Permanent
Location -Pleasant Prairie, WI
Schedule & Work Hours: 3x12-Hour Shifts/Week (Night Shift: 7:00 – 7:00)

Note:-  Entry-level applicants welcome; relevant clinical rotations preferred .

Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join a respected medical-surgical unit in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. This role is ideal for clinicians who excel in delivering high-quality patient care across a variety of diagnoses and acuity levels. The selected RN will play a key role in assessment, care planning, and implementation of evidence-based interventions tailored to individual patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge planning
• Recognize and respond effectively to emergencies and life-threatening situations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment conducive to patient healing
• Support new staff orientation and assist with clinical student instruction as needed
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives to uphold high standards of care

Required Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Active RN License in the State of Wisconsin (or eligibility to practice)
• BLS and/or CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross (or ability to obtain within 6 weeks of hire)
• Entry-level RNs encouraged to apply
