We are interested in a qualified individual to perform a multitude of tasks to support our facility including assisting with our laser in addition to helping with shipping/receiving in our machine shop. This job involves being on the shop floor for part or most of the day at times.

Laser/Shipping/Office Assistant duties and responsibilities:

• Laser Assistant is responsible for operating the machine and devices used for laser purposes. They do the engraving and cutting of the metal or plastic parts of the laser device.
• Using own vehicle to drop off and pickup parts from vendor. You would be paid your hourly wage plus standard IRS mileage rate
• Washing and wrapping parts for shipment to customers
• Scanning and filing of paperwork
• Receiving material
• Some light cleaning of the facility

SHIFT:

· *Full time / 1st shift - Monday to Friday

Successful Candidate Skills / Qualifications:

· *Minimum of a High School diploma

· *Ability to lift 50 pounds

· *Able to stand for extended period of time

· *Must have excellent work ethic and ability to work with others as a team

· *Must have excellent communication skills both verbally and in written form

· *Self motivated

· *A background in manufacturing would be a plus

· *Willing to do a variety of tasks each week depending on the work load

· *Detail orientated
