As a Jr. DevOps Engineer on our core software development team, youll be the driving force behind innovation and technical excellence. Your mission will be to design and automate processes that elevate the continuous delivery of applications and services to new heights. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Take the lead in shaping the technical vision for designing and implementing continuous integration and delivery/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines that power enterprise-wide software delivery.
  • Showcase your expertise in setting up Ingress pipelines, Ingress Controllers, and more, building modern, efficient infrastructure solutions.
  • Partner with internal product development teams to deliver distributed, highly available infrastructure that accelerates product delivery with unmatched reliability and scalability.
  • Continuously enhance infrastructure, containers, and service-level or application-level security to meet evolving challenges.
  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, driving seamless deployment processes.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments with cutting-edge Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Azure CLI.
  • Monitor and fine-tune Azure environments to ensure peak performance, high availability, and robust security.
  • Expand and future-proof existing CI/CD infrastructure to meet the growing demands of dynamic product pipelines, automating deployment, scaling, and management.
  • Define and champion CI/CD best practices across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Provide mentorship to team members, inspiring growth and fostering technical excellence.
  • Support internal customers throughout the CI/CD lifecycle, ensuring seamless collaboration and process optimization.

Skills and Experience:

  • 3 years of IT experience collaborating with software development, release, and build engineering teams.
  • 3+ years of hands-on DevOps Engineering experience.
  • Proven expertise in DevOps that goes beyond executing release processesdemonstrated ability to design, develop, implement, and define best practices for CI/CD pipelines.
  • Skilled in integrating various stages of the SDLC into a seamless CD pipeline.
  • 5+ years of experience in Continuous Integration using industry-standard tools.
  • Solid background in CI/CD with hands-on experience in tools like Jenkins, Tekton, Buildpacks, Artifactory, SonarQube, and Terraform Enterprise.
  • Proficient in utilizing APIs to seamlessly integrate CI, testing, and deployment systems across the software development lifecycle.
  • Deep understanding of modern IT infrastructure components and their integrations.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Groovy, Bash, Grunt, PowerShell, Python, or Ruby is highly desirable.

Other Qualifications:

  • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
  • Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
  • Strong understanding of networking and security in cloud environments.
  • Experience with DevSecOps and secure code practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and performance optimization skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with Git, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  • Relevant DevOps certifications are a plus.

Education and/or Experience:

A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is essential, along with 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in IT operations or software development. Were also looking for someone with foundational knowledge of Azure services, DevOps practices, or an equivalent mix of education and practical experience that highlights your technical and collaborative skills!
