IT Field Support Tech Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installing and testing equipment in the field for new and existing stores, i.e., POS, CCTV, PC, and networking devices
• Testing equipment to verify proper communication and functionality.
• Wiring, termination and testing of network infrastructure.
• Assist in training store personnel on use of equipment.
• Assist in decision making in the field about placement of equipment for customer flow and ease of use for employees.
• Traveling to various locations nationwide
• Other duties assigned as needed.

IT Field Support Tech Skills and Requirements:

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic network installation, basic PC skills.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office use and functionality a plus, ability to utilize hand tools.
• Ability to learn and adapt to varying situations quickly, excellent customer service skills and the ability to work under supervision with a high level of integrity.
• Requires prolonged sitting, bending, and stooping, ladder climbing.
• The ability to lift to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and hand tools.
• Traveling via car and plane will be required (the amount of travel does vary but travel typically is about 2-3 weeks per month.)
• Overnight travel is required.
