Position: Instrument Tech

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated individual for the role of Instrument Tech at our Battleground Chemical Manufacturing Facility in LaPorte, Texas .

Essential Job Duties:

• Maintain the protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and communities, prioritizing safety above all.
• Pay attention to detail and dedicate yourself to ensuring site reliability and high-quality products.
• Foster a respectful, supportive environment that encourages growth and success for all team members.
• Ensure compliance with PSM standards (MOC's, PSSR's, Procedures, Audits, etc.).
• Support plant health, safety, and housekeeping policies to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Perform calibration, repair, and integrity checks of process instrumentation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for process instrumentation to maximize equipment uptime.
• Provide technical assistance to production and engineering teams regarding process instrumentation applications and modifications.
• Maintain and update records related to the instrument department, including test equipment, tools, spare parts, and vendor resources.
• Stay informed and educated on current safety, technical, and quality practices to support continuous improvement.
• Be available outside regular hours to support plant operations.
• Provide on-the-job training to I/E technicians and other qualified personnel.
• Participate in teams and committees supporting organizational goals.
• Travel as required for work-related duties.
• Support and implement the Plant's Quality Program.
