Job Title: Contract Instrument Technician - Las Vegas

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Las Vegas on a contract basis. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct routine maintenance on instrumentation and control systems
  2. Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation issues
  3. Calibrate instruments according to manufacturer specifications
  4. Install, test and commission new instrumentation equipment
  5. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities
  6. Monitor inventory levels and order replacement parts when necessary
  7. Adhere to safety protocols at all times

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training in instrumentation preferred
  2. Minimum of 3 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
  3. Strong knowledge of various types of instruments and control systems
  4. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
  5. Experience with calibration procedures and equipment
  6. Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
  7. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
  8. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)
