SUMMARY

The HR Operations Consultant will assist with frontline HR administration and responsibilities at the corporate office, assist the HR Technology and Analytics Consultant in the configuration, enhancement, testing, support, and ongoing management of HR Applications, and assist with special projects and initiatives of the HR department as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)

HR Technology Support

  • Partner with and support the HR Technology and Analytics Consultant on the configuration, enhancement, testing, support, and ongoing management of HR Applications including but not limited to the HRIS
  • Assist with inquiries pertaining to the HRIS or any other HR Technology platforms in use
  • Assist with the setup of any needed EDI feeds or SFTP file builds and perform quality checks to ensure accurate transmittal of information from the HRIS system
  • Assist with implementation of HR technology and education for any newly acquired business units
  • Assist with needed reporting and any ad hoc reporting requests from both internal and external partners

HR Administration

  • Assist with HR administrative support at the corporate office including assisting with VOE and VOI requests, assisting with onboarding of new hires at the corporate office, assisting leaders with submitting EAFs as needed for employment changes or terminations, reviewing and assisting with mail, and assisting with request for records or reports as needed
  • Maintaining the org chart of corporate and market senior leadership
  • Partner with other HR team members and other departments on special projects as needed
  • Assisting with other logistic needs and requests at the corporate office

Other Duties

  • Attends meetings with both internal and external partners as needed
  • Maintains confidentiality and security of all PHI and employment information
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources preferred.
  • 2+ years of professional HR experience preferred.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment law preferred.
  • Experience using HRIS systems, Paylocity preferred.
  • Experience working with Senior Leaders, employees, and external partners preferred.

SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Ability to manage and leverage relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels and external partners.
  • Customer focused, proactive and results oriented.
  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal), presentation and interpersonal skills including the ability to relate well with all levels within the organization.
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel.
  • Advanced time management skills including ability to handle multiple recruiting efforts.
  • Experience handling sensitive, confidential organizational information.
  • Must be analytical and detail-oriented with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven success in working with teams across matrixed organizations.

While performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and to talk and hear. Employee may be occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIORNMENT

Work environment is typical of an office setting. Work may be fast-paced and intense at times. Interaction with others is constant and interruptions may occur. Schedule requires flexibility to occasionally include evenings, early mornings, and weekends. Occasional travel may be required.
