Job Title: Housing Navigator
Location: Montebello, CA
Pay: $22/hr.

As a Housing Navigator, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients in securing safe and affordable housing. You will work closely with community organizations, landlords, and housing authorities to ensure that clients receive the support they need. Your expertise in housing resources and your ability to build strong relationships will be key to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive housing assessments to determine clients' needs and eligibility for various housing programs.
• Provide clients with information and guidance on available housing options, including rental assistance programs, subsidized housing, and emergency shelters.
• Assist clients in completing housing applications and gathering necessary documentation.
• Advocate on behalf of clients to landlords and housing authorities to secure housing placements.
• Collaborate with community organizations to connect clients with additional support services, such as employment assistance, healthcare, and financial counseling.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and housing placements.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of housing resources and programs in Montebello, CA.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in social services, case management, or a related field is preferred.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
