Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Rigger to join our team. The Rigger will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials and equipment on construction sites. This role requires expertise in operating various types of heavy machinery, including cranes, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, concrete mixers, and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of rigging techniques and safety protocols to ensure all operations are conducted smoothly.

Duties

• Operate cranes and other heavy equipment to lift, move, and position materials as needed on construction sites.
• Collaborate with construction teams to determine the best rigging methods for specific tasks.
• Inspect rigging equipment and machinery for safety compliance before use.
• Utilize dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tankers for transporting materials to and from job sites.
• Perform digging operations using bulldozers or similar equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Rigger or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in operating cranes, concrete mixers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, tankers, bulldozers, and Caterpillar machinery.
• Strong knowledge of rigging techniques and safety practices.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions on construction sites.
• Excellent physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks.
• Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must be able to pass all required safety training and certifications related to rigging operations.
