Position Overview: The Highway Striping Technician is responsible for applying roadway markings on streets, roads, and highways while adhering to safety regulations and industry standards. This position plays a key role in improving road safety for motorists by ensuring accurate and high-quality striping applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate striping equipment to apply paint, thermoplastic, and other marking materials to road surfaces.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance on striping equipment to maintain efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects accurately and on time.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed.
• Follow instructions and safety guidelines with precision.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent certificate required.
• Must have a valid drivers license a CDL is preferred.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, based on project schedules.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Prior experience in highway construction or striping is preferred.
• Traffic control experience is preferred.

• Valid email address for communication.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions from supervisors and senior crew members.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons and varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and handle at least 75 pounds.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
