Job Description
Local company seeking an experienced
Heavy Diesel Mechanic with knowledge of tire maintenance and replacement.
Job Site is located in Metter, Ga
Pay rate: $18-$26 per hour depending on experience
Requirements: - Experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel engines, transmissions other mechanical systems
- Have the skills and experience to inspect, remove, replace, and repair tires on heavy equipment and commercial vehicles
- Ability to perform tire balancing, rotations, and alignments as needed
- Be able to maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Ability to conduct regular maintenance to prevent unexpected breakdowns
- Have the knowledge and skills to use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot engine and mechanical issues
- Have the ability to work independently or as part of a team to meet operational deadlines
- Have strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Must have the ability to lift heavy equipment and tires as needed
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- ASE Certification is a plus (preferred but not required)
